Light Shone in the Darkness and The Darkness Understood it Not.

How many of our problems today are spun around this Biblical message that John’s Gospel tried to relate?

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” — John 1: 1-5. The King James Bible

Donovan, Jack. Fire in the Dark: Men and Gods (p. 55). Kindle Edition.

Jack Donovan does a great job of writing a fictional story of the Fire in the Dark, as he tries to relate primal mankind to their attraction for light.
